Australian Mineral Fertilisers offer Custom Blending to mitigate soil deficiencies identified by a comprehensive soil test, or simply to meet customer preferences. 

Custom Blending

Grow Safe® Field Advisors can assist in the sampling, processing and analysis of comprehensive soil testing. These tests can help identify soil limiting factors and any immediate deficiencies. Australian Mineral Fertilisers can modify any of the Grow Safe agricultural products with additional nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper molybdenum or selenium. Minimum order quantities apply, pending availability of blending materials, with pricing on application. 

Custom Fertiliser Analysis

Modify the type and quantity of soluble nutrients, or the ratio of Grow Safe minerals.   

Specify Trace Elements

Manage specific trace elements relative to local deficiencies.

Action Soil Test Results

Utilise information provided by comprehensive soil tests or recommendations.

Soil Testing

Grow Safe® Field Advisors can assist with comprehensive soil testing, interpretation and recommendations. Custom Blending can meet any subsequent limitations with modifications to NPKS or trace elements. 

Nitrogen Range

Nitrogen is a core component in plant structures and involved in many of their metabolic processes. Nitrogen comes in varied soluble forms, some of which are more volatile or detrimental to soil microbiology. Australian Mineral Fertilisers offer standard, slow and controlled release nitrogen products as optional blending materials, selected for biocompatibility and Nutrient Use Efficiency. SOA (Sulphate of Ammonia)

High-grade SOA is the preferred nitrogen source used in Grow Safe® fertilisers, selected for its high NUE and sulphur component. SOA can be applied in varied rainfall & weather conditions, complements soil biology and is not susceptible to atmospheric volatilisation.

Controlled and Slow-Release Nitrogen

Controlled Release Nitrogen (CRN)

AMF offers a range of Controlled Release Nitrogen (CRN) products, with release patterns ranging from 50 to 180 days.
CRN products are subject to import availability and advance booking is required. CRN includes products such as ESN
(Environmentally Smart Nitrogen), MU-38 (Methylene Urea) and SCU (Sulphur Coated Urea).

Phosphorus Range

Phosphorus is a primary element in plant growth, particularly necessary in the early stages of plant establishment and root development. The forms of phosphorus used in Grow Safe® fertilisers consist of a combination of slow-release guano and biologically compatible soluble phosphates.

Guano

Guano consists of fossilised bird and bat excrement that provides an excellent source of natural phosphorus with high solubility. Guano contains trace elements and is biologically compatible with beneficial bacteria and fungi. All Grow Safe® fertilisers contain guano. Guano is currently unavailable for individual sale.

MAP (Mono-Ammonium Phosphate)

Mono-Ammonium Phosphate is one of the preferred soluble forms of phosphorus for use with Grow Safe® fertilisers, containing both phosphorus and nitrogen. MAP
offers blending and storage advantages over Diammonium Phosphate (DAP), with greater biological compatibility.

Potassium Range

Grow Safe® products generally utilise Sulphate of Potash as the source of soluble potassium. Trace potassium is also found in guano and silicate – both raw materials used in the manufacturing process of Grow Safe® Minerals. Potassium humate products are offered as optional blending ingredients and nitrogen coatings, which also contribute trace amounts of potassium.

SOP (Sulphate of Potash)

Sulphate of Potash is the preferred source of Potassium over Muriate of Potash (KCl) because of its low salt index, compatibility with soil microbes and sulphur component. SOP is available as a standalone product or if additional potassium is requested in a Custom Blend.
